Bucharest National Opera hosts in The Yellow Foyeron 17 November 2022, 20:00, "From Offenbach to Bernstein", a unique concert that complements the cinematographic events from the Bucharest Jewish Film Festival. The director, producer and president of the festival Dan Michael Schlanger had the idea of ​​this classical music concert with a varied program, which will bring on stage pieces rarely or never sung in Romania, performed by a team of established vocal soloists and instrumentalists of the Bucharest National Opera, alongside general manager Daniel Jinga and artistic director Ethan Schmeisser.

From composers of romantic expression - Alkan, Bloch, Offenbach - to famous composers of the XNUMXth century. XX – Prokofiev, Schoenberg, Shostakovich, the concert will include pieces of Jewish inspiration, but also new pages from the work of Leonard Bernstein, André Previn and Paul Ben-Haim.

The public will be able to enjoy a program full of contrasts and the presence of performers well known to lovers of quality music.
