Stefano Nappo was born in Ottaviano, Italy, and began dancing at the age of six. He trains in particular with Rosa Varriale and Francesco Imperatore at “Accademia Arte e Spettocolo Spazio Danza” before joining the three-year program at the English National Ballet in London. During the school, he danced as Franz for the production of ENB2 “My First Ballet: “Coppelia” and later as a soloist in “Bournonville balloons” in Naples.

After graduating from ENB, he joined the Ballet Theater Sibiu for a season where he danced different roles and ballets: The Jester “The Swan Lake”, The Dance of the Mirlitons/The Soldier/The Russian Dance, “The Nutcracker”, Pas de Trois from “Paquita”, Blue Bird – Pas de Deux from “Sleeping Beauty” and Gopak from “Taras Bulba”.

In the same year, he danced Pas de Trois from “Swan Lake”, as a guest at the State Opera House in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

In 2016 he joins the ballet of the Bucharest National Opera, where he dance in

in the “Éljen a Magyar” ballet, choreography Renato Zanella, “Don Quijote” choreographic adaptation Jaroslav Slavicky, “Romeo and Juliet”, choreography Renato Zanella, “La Bayadere” and “Giselle” in Mihai Babuşka Choreography, Opus 73 and Sacre du Printemps “, choreography Renato Zanella

Solistic roles:

Beno “Swan Lake”, choreography Gheorghe Iancu and Benvolio from “Romeo and Juliet”, choreography by Renato Zanella.

Since 2018, he is soloist of the Bucharest National Opera Ballet.
